RUD's Power 4 x 4 chains, also referred to as "Grip V", are perfect for occasional UK use or to take on the family skiing holiday.

  • there's no need to move the car when fitting them
  • they're quick and easy to fit
  • the wedge-shaped chrome-manganese fine-grained alloy steel links provide superior grip
  • they have a reversible chain mesh for a long lifetime (but don't grind them down on the tarmac!)
  • they're supplied in a strong zipped ballistic nylon bag, making them easier to pack away than into a plastic case, and easier to store in tight spaces
  • Click here to see a demonstration of how to fit these chains.

Remarkable value!

Power 4 x 4s are far and away our best selling 4 x 4 chains. The 'automatic' Classic 4 x 4 chains are better chains - you won't get your hands dirty, and the chain links are stronger - but they are almost twice the price. Our advice is that unless you want to spend the money, or want to use your chains for serious cross country work, e.g. driving over rock and timber, these Power 4 x 4 chains will be fine.

Why choose RUD for your 4 x 4? Simple - they're reckoned to be the best. But don't just take our word for it; RUD are official suppliers to Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Landrover, Mercedes, Saab, Volvo, and VW, amongst others, and also supply the British Army - ample evidence that their snow chains are as good as they come.

We're also showing you a range of other winter motoring products which we're selling here at market leading prices, including a snow and ice windscreen protector, a telescopic snow shovel, and a snow brush - all of these items are almost essential kit for winter weather, especially we suggest the snow brush. How we deliver

We aim to be as flexible as possible when delivering your order. Most orders are delivered using couriers. Goods can usually be left without a signature; you'll be asked for "Special Delivery Instructions" at the checkout. We always need the cardholder's address, but you can specify an alternative delivery address (e.g. work address).

Smaller orders are despatched using Royal Mail or DX2Home and may need to be signed for; if you are out you'll be left a card outlining options which may include arranging a re-delivery or collecting your parcel from a post office for Royal Mail deliveries.

Important information

Delivery is subject to stock availability.

99 point something percent of orders are delivered to plan but occasionally deliveries are affected by factors that are beyond our control - traffic jams, bad weather etc. - and there is therefore by definition no such thing as a "guaranteed" delivery, whether from us or from anyone else.
