A very practical and easy-to-use 300 lumen head torch with three lighting levels, all you need for general lighting - in and around the home, car, campsite.
You need two hands to fit snowchains or AutoSock. If you've never used a headtorch before you'll be amazed at what a difference they make, and how often you'll end up using it. Keep one in the car, or in your outdoor coat pocket. Petzl is the head torch brand, much copied, never bettered.
The Tikkina is Petzl's brand leader, a very robust and easy-to-use head torch; we supply the blue coloured version. It's a good all-rounder, ideal for use around the home, car, campsite, but it's not really bright enough for e.g. night-time running.
Features:
- Three lighting levels (ambient, standard, maximum) with a floodlight beam, controlled by a push button switch; push again to switch off the torch
- 100 hours of light duration at ambient level (2 hours at maximum level, 300 lumens, 65 metres). Most people think the standard level is good enough - 10 hours at 100 lumens with a beam extending 40 metres
- Push-button switch reduces potential for inadvertently turning on the lamp
- The light beam can be moved down for close up work
- Single easy to open compartment contains both the LED bulb and the batteries
- IPX4 water-resistance - "resistant to water splashes from any direction". In practice this makes it suitable for outdoor use in the rain, but it's not waterproof - don't use it under water
- Uses three alkaline AAA/LR03 batteries (included); also works with Petzl's CORE rechargeable battery (not included)
- Comfortable, adjustable headband which can be removed for washing
- Weight: 92g, including batteries
- Can be used with Petzl's helmet mounts and bike mounts - but note that it's not approved as a bike light for road use

Delivery times are calculated in working days (Monday to Friday, excluding Bank holidays).
Cut-off times for Express Delivery orders
Express Delivery orders placed before 4pm will usually be despatched on the date of order. Express Delivery orders placed after 4pm will be despatched the next working day.
How we deliver
We aim to be as flexible as possible when delivering your order. Most orders are delivered using couriers. Goods can usually be left without a signature; you'll be asked for "Special Delivery Instructions" at the checkout. We always need the cardholder's address, but you can specify an alternative delivery address (e.g. work address).
Smaller orders are despatched using Royal Mail or DX2Home and may need to be signed for; if you are out you'll be left a card outlining options which may include arranging a re-delivery or collecting your parcel from a post office for Royal Mail deliveries.

99 point something percent of orders are delivered to plan but occasionally deliveries are affected by factors that are beyond our control - traffic jams, bad weather etc. - and there is therefore by definition no such thing as a "guaranteed" delivery, whether from us or from anyone else.
