These chains are fitted from the outside of the wheel, and are specially designed for use in tight spaces, and for use on twin wheels.
The chain mesh hangs from a sprung steel hoop which you first push over the top of the wheel, then you put one end around each side of the wheel, dragging the chain into place as you do it.
It's very difficult, sometimes impossible if there's not enough space, to drag chain links between twin wheels, which is why König's Coach Master should always be the chain of choice for these vehicles.

What's the big deal? König's Coach Master ‘automatic’ snowchains are designed to get around the two problems that make it difficult to fit standard snowchains to coaches: (1) there's not usually enough space between the top of the wheel and the bodywork to fit chains and (2) it's always difficult, and sometimes not possible, to push standard chains between twin-wheels. Coach Master are an all-round quicker, easier, safer option.
These chains are supplied in pairs. Their 6mm diameter round-section links are made into a large number of diamond-shaped sections to provide continuous ground contact, giving very good lateral grip as well as excellent forward grip.
Fitting is very quick and very easy: Lift the centre of the sprung steel hoop onto the top of the tyre and push it to the back. Place each end of the hoop behind the wheel near ground level, left and right of the tyre; this will have had the effect of dragging chain over the face of the tyre except of course where the tyre is in contact the road surface. Move the vehicle a quarter wheel revolution, so the pulley system is visible, and then pull the tensioning chain tight. Slide the tensioning chain into the locking plate and then push it through the outer chain ring loops, starting with the red-coloured loop. Check out the Fitting video tab to see how easy it is!
These are not self-tensioning chains so you’ll need to make a further tensioning stop once the chain has properly shaken itself into place, usually after 10 metres or so.
You'll find that you can usually fit these chains without even getting your hands dirty – which just goes to show how different these automatic chains are when compared to other heavy duty commercial snowchain models.

Cut-off times for Express Delivery orders
Express Delivery orders placed before 4pm will usually be despatched on the date of order. Express Delivery orders placed after 4pm will be despatched the next working day.
How we deliver
We aim to be as flexible as possible when delivering your order. Most orders are delivered using couriers. Goods can usually be left without a signature; you'll be asked for "Special Delivery Instructions" at the checkout. We always need the cardholder's address, but you can specify an alternative delivery address (e.g. work address).
Smaller orders are despatched using Royal Mail or DX2Home and may need to be signed for; if you are out you'll be left a card outlining options which may include arranging a re-delivery or collecting your parcel from a post office for Royal Mail deliveries.

99 point something percent of orders are delivered to plan but occasionally deliveries are affected by factors that are beyond our control - traffic jams, bad weather etc. - and there is therefore by definition no such thing as a "guaranteed" delivery, whether from us or from anyone else.
